Solidarity Resources Inc. is a volunteer-run collective supporting protest and public assembly on the unceded lands of the Yuggera and Turrbal peoples, in so-called Brisbane (Magan-djin).
For over 30 years, we’ve provided mobile sound systems to grassroots events — helping amplify the voices of those calling for justice, care, and collective change. Our systems have supported hundreds of actions across the city and beyond, in all kinds of spaces and conditions.
We exist because access to public space — and the right to be heard within it — is often restricted. Whether through regulation, privatisation, or the pressure of hostile infrastructure, it can be hard to make your voice carry. We work to ensure movements can gather with confidence, and be heard by all who need to listen.
The equipment we lend is practical, durable, and ready for use in streets, parks, campuses and community spaces. We also offer training and guides for organisers and crew — because knowing how to run sound is part of building capacity in our movements.
We don’t run as a business or a charity. We operate on principles of solidarity, collective care and grassroots organising — supporting people-powered action wherever it grows.
